Woman-owned small business secures a Group A prime seat on NASA’s 10-year, $60 billion Government-Wide Acquisition Contract for federal IT solutions
RESTON, VA — Empower Solutions LLC, a woman-owned small business specializing in federal cybersecurity and IT solutions, has been selected by NASA as a prime contract holder under the sixth generation of the Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement (SEWP VI) Government-Wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC). The award, issued June 22, 2026, positions Empower Solutions as a named Group A small business prime on one of the federal government’s most widely used IT acquisition vehicles.
SEWP VI carries a 10-year ordering period and a $60 billion program ceiling, enabling federal civilian and defense agencies to procure commercial IT products and solutions through a streamlined, pre-competed contract mechanism. The vehicle succeeds SEWP V, which facilitated more than $63 billion in federal technology purchases over its lifetime. The SEWP VI program is projected to open for ordering on November 1, 2026. Empower Solutions joins a select group of Category A prime holders authorized to receive task orders directly from federal agencies across the government.
“Winning a SEWP VI prime seat validates eleven years of trusted partnership, sweat equity, and value realized in the federal cybersecurity space. I am both ecstatic and humbled by this achievement — and deeply grateful for the team that got us here. NASA SEWP is the most trusted IT acquisition vehicle in the federal government, and we are proud to offer our agency customers a streamlined path to the solutions they need from a source they know.”
